Temperature measurements
Following are details about temperature measurements of Saga devices.
Thermometer and temperature range
Saga devices use the built-in thermometer to measure temperature:
Saga Standard:
-20°Cto+50°CSaga Arctic:
-30°Cto+30°C
Saga-P devices use the thermometer in the attached probe to measure temperature:
Saga Dry Ice:
-95°Cto+50°CSaga Cryogenic:
-200°Cto+50°C
If you want to monitor temperatures below -30°C, use a device with a probe, either Saga Dry Ice or Saga Cryogenic.
Temperature resolution
All Saga devices have a temperature resolution of 0.1°C.
Long-term drift
All Saga devices have a long-term temperature drift of of <0.1°C per year.
Measurement interval
All Saga devices record the external temperature every 10 minutes.
Data storage
All Saga devices have the capacity to store >150 days' worth of temperature measurements on the device, or 21,600 data points, recorded at 10 minute intervals.
