Temperature measurements

In this section:

Following are details about temperature measurements of Saga devices.

Thermometer and temperature range

  • Saga devices use the built-in thermometer to measure temperature:

    • Saga Standard: -20°C to +50°C

    • Saga Arctic: -30°C to +30°C

  • Saga-P devices use the thermometer in the attached probe to measure temperature:

    • Saga Dry Ice: -95°C to +50°C

    • Saga Cryogenic: -200°C to +50°C

If you want to monitor temperatures below -30°C, use a device with a probe, either Saga Dry Ice or Saga Cryogenic.

Temperature resolution

All Saga devices have a temperature resolution of 0.1°C.

Long-term drift

All Saga devices have a long-term temperature drift of of <0.1°C per year.

Measurement interval

All Saga devices record the external temperature every 10 minutes.

Data storage

All Saga devices have the capacity to store >150 days' worth of temperature measurements on the device, or 21,600 data points, recorded at 10 minute intervals.
